We currently offer Birth support at Grace Birthing Centre.
Before labor:
Before labor I will meet with you and your birth partner at your birth appointment at the Centre. This gives us time to get to know each other, discuss what type of birth you’d like and address any concerns you may have.
During labor:
I offer a variety of comfort measures, including massage, aromatherapy, counter pressure, rebozo, visualization, breathing, exercise, positioning and much more. I believe that a woman, can successfully cope with labor in various ways and my goal is to support you in finding the method that works for you in each moment leading up to your birth.
After birth:
I will remain with you for an hour after birth to ensure that you are comfortable and ready for some quiet time with your family. We also latch baby on during this time and get you settled into your room.
What is Birth Services
Birth services refer to the professional assistance and support provided to pregnant women and their partners before, during, and after childbirth. These services can be provided by a variety of healthcare professionals, including midwives, obstetricians, doulas, and nurses.
Some examples of birth services include:

Prenatal care: This involves regular checkups with a healthcare provider to monitor the health of the mother and baby during pregnancy.

Baby Massage
Baby massage has many emotional and physical benfits. It helps improve sleep, assists with colic and constipation and stimulates their nervous system.
Postpartum Massage
Postpartum massage relaxes muscles, increases circulation, lowers stress hormones and drains lymph. Our massages are specific to what presents in each mum during our assessment.
Postpartum Baby and Mum Massage Packages
This includes a variety of massage techniques which include, trigger point massage, myofacial release, the breaking down of cellulite, flexibility and lymphatic drainage.
Ultimate Indulgence Package with Massage
Enjoy a eucalyptus, lavender and aromatherapy salt soak bath post birth with a deep tissue massage. Duration: 2 Hours

Aqeeqah Hair Removal Package 1
Our package includes baby’s hair removal, baby’s massage and bath. N.B: for additional sunnah reward we require a small amount of saffron to apply over baby’s head once the hair is removed.
